Papadia Donato began his career as a disc jockey in 1973, he began listening to classic rock to discover soul music and funk, his first playlist is composed of: J.Brown, Mowton Sound, sound and everything Philly what was innovative in Black music.

Over the years, his is an evolution of both technical and musical approaches to the New Wave and rediscovers the names of international music.

Curious by nature, explores concepts ranging from House music to the New Beat, passing through the Balearic and landing to Hard House and Techno, always prefers sounds strong and clear. With the passage of time increasingly refined his technique and discover the sounds Lounge, Chill music and World music, which still accompany his DJ set, but it reaches its climax when a house falls in love with Ethnic genre unexplored by many but which contains an essence of unlimited sounds, percussion, artistic expressions that border on classic, a variety of pianos and violins of great impact and sensations.

One of the greatest Italian DJs has spent half his career in over 300 clubs in Italy and proceeds through a significant experience in Monte Carlo, magical place to experience art and work. Participates in major events such as, Grand Prix, Rolex Tennis Masters, Grand Rose Ball, Summer Ball, Yacht Show, Mics, etc.. confronted with an international clientele that satisfies because of its enormous artistic curiosity that allows him to explore worlds and cultures far removed from his early work. He lives several international events in various parts of the world: Italy, Portugal, Spain, Great Britain, Mexico, Morocco, France, Greece, Romania, Turkey, Egypt, Russia, Ukraina.

After 11 years of the console Jimmy’z in Monte Carlo, lands in what is now his reign: the Buddha Bar, local and allows him to express his full potential in music, and his DJ sets consist of lounge, world music , oriental and ethnic house, in parallel develops a concept of Minimal house and Deep house, which goes very well with the picture of Buddha Bar fusion.

Dj Papa’s fame and success confirm him as a key artist on the contemporary ethno-beat music scene.
He’s art director and music curator of  “Buddha-Bar” radio show: he hosts every Friday and Saturday nights his own 3-hour weekly eclectic international radio show on Radio Monte Carlo, one of the most prestigious  european broadcasting network. He directs  also RMC Buddha-Bar Monte Carlo / Radio the firts twenty-four-seven webradio in the world with the best Buddha-Bar music, where Papa Dj  spreads a super selection of one-hour mixtapes from the best world music artists and BB compilation’s tracks creators.
