MAJNOON & KHAIKHANMajnoon is founded by KhaiKhan (Kayhan Yakarlar), the founder of RADIO ISTANBUL(RIST ISTANBUL) & RIST RECORDS.
The mission of the group founded with
the motto ‘’Music rising from the east “ is to interpret our values and culture to the present, to transfer to the new generation and
repackaged with the present pattern and present to the whole universe.
Majnoon also efforts to achieve universality through locality.Majnoon combines oriental, ethnic and spiritual sounds with unique
visuals in their performances.The group, which aims to reflect the universality of music in their performances, is presented under the name of ETHNIC UNIVERSE.
Under the ETHNIC UNIVERSE concept, Majnoon created performances with the most famous names of ethnic music in the world.The instruments will be;

M.Kayhan Yakarlar aka. Khaikhan is the producer / founder / music director / artistic director for some of the the finest venues in Istanbul.
Khaikhan from Istanbul, is a DJ and a producer. He combines local instruments and sounds with the world sounds in order to create a rich musical texture that he names “Bosphorus Orient and World Ethnic Sounds”
Since than in his music career with over 30 years he had been the resident Dj for many top iconic venues in Istanbul. By 2000’s his productions played an important role in his musical career. He has produced the first Chill Out album of Turkey.
His tracks has been published and licensed to numerous labels arround the world. He made musical collaborations and played alongside names such as
He has collaborated with artists such as Claude Challe, Papa Dj, Dest, Estray, Rodrigo Galliardo, Laroz Camel Rider, Anatolian Sessions, Omer Nanda, Jota Karloza, Acid Pauli, Armen Miran, Viken Arman, Timboletti, Ali Farahani just to name a few.
Khaikhan is also the music curator and director for some of the top venus in Istanbul and World.
